HOME NEEDED FOR TANK WAGON
Home needed for tank wagon, currently in Devon, which a scrap man is trying to find a new home for otherwise he has to cut it up. If anyone is interested they can contact me and I will forward details. Time is very tight - he did tell me the end of July though there may be a slight stay of execution, but we're talking a couple of weeks perhaps. He's basically looking to match the scrap price.
It looks to me like a Shell-BP tanker and the number looks like A3982, although the 8 is a bit unclear. The ladder is missing from the photographed side but present on the other side apparently. He thinks it dates from 1937 (presumably from a plate on it) although others I've seen of this type date from the early 40s, but it's that sort of era anyway.

FOR SALE - MR VAN BODIES
I have two MR box van bodies in some state of semi dereliction which need to
be moved in the next month. I have been unable to work on them on the
Somerset site on which they reside (health & safety issues) and now no
longer have room in my future plans for time on them. One is a standard 10
ton outside frame, the other is what is known as the Irish variant - outside
frame but two parallel frame members, rather than the usual V. Only 200 of
these were made for this country. I regret they will be destroyed if there
are no takers. Photos available if required.

LMS INSPECTION SALOON
As one of many options, I would like to offer on loan in exchange for
completion my saloon 45028 for an agreed loan period.
It will require a gutter repair, new kitchen, toilet repairs, carpets in
saloons and curtains (I have some blinds that need cleaning). I have lots
of bits for the rest of the carriage.
